High Ropes Team Challenges

High Ropes Team Challenges

High Rope Team Challenges

Crate Stack Challenge
The aim is to build the highest tower of crates possible, with 2 or 3 people on the top climbing higher and higher. Every member of the group takes part somehow, from moving crates to belaying and holding ropes to giving guidance and support. The activity is great for team building, and so works particularly well with corporate, schools and other groups. Other skills developed on the crate stack challenge include problem solving and self-confidence.

Peg Pole Challenge
The aim is for the 3 or 4 climbers to ascend the 6m pole having to tactically continue to move the restricted number of pegs they can use as hand and foot holds until they get to the top. When at the top help each other to “stand” on the small top platform and then the climbers will hold hands and “lean out” to be lowered to the ground. Every member of the group takes part somehow, from throwing pegs up to the climbers, to belaying and holding ropes to giving guidance and support. The activity is great for team building, and so works particularly well with corporate, schools and other groups. Other skills developed on the peg pole challenge include problem solving and self-confidence.

Islands
The newest addition to our High Ropes Team Challenges, Islands is a High Ropes activity with a twist. 4 team members “rope bearers” will have to work together using diagonally connected ropes to move the “Treasure Chest” from the “Island to Island” on a set course. Progression of the activity can include blind folding the “rope bearers” with other members of the team giving them instructions. A fantastic activity for team building, and works particularly well with corporate, schools and other groups.
